Kindergarten

Faith & Theology: Kindergarten students begin developing a strong understanding of God's love, and their unique place in His creation. Through prayer, stories, and discussion, they learn about creation, the liturgical seasons, the sacraments, the virtues, and the parts of the church.
Science: Students explore the natural world through the study of plants, animals, weather, and seasonal changes. Hands-on investigations help them observe the patterns around them and make important connections to everyday life.
English Language Arts: Students build foundational literacy skills through phonemic awareness, phonics, handwriting, reading, speaking, and writing. They learn letter sounds, decode simple words, develop their vocabulary, and grow in confidence as readers and communicators.
Social Studies: Students learn about communities, rules, responsibilities, traditions, and the world around them. They begin developing an understanding of active citizenship and their role within the classroom and broader community.
Mathematics: Students develop numeracy through counting, comparing numbers, addition, subtraction, measurement, data collection, geometry, and mathematical problem solving.
