Preschool & Pre-K

Faith & Theology
Utilizing the Catechesis of the Good Shepherd, including our dedicated Atrium, children encounter God through hands-on experiences rooted in the Montessori tradition. Students learn about God's love, creation, prayer, the liturgical seasons, saints, and important celebrations of the Church year, while also developing wonder and reverence for their faith.
Science & Discovery
Using the Creative Curriculum, students explore the world around them through hands-on studies that encourage curiosity, observation, questioning, and exploration. Investigative topics include seasons, animals, building and construction, music, movement, gardening, and everyday objects.
Early Literacy
Students build foundational language and literacy skills through Heggerty Phonemic Awareness, Learning Without Tears, read-alouds, storytelling, songs, and conversations. They develop listening comprehension, vocabulary, letter recognition, early writing skills, and a love of books and learning.
Mathematics
Through the Bridges Math Curriculum and hands-on numerical activities, students develop number sense, counting skills, pattern recognition, sorting, comparing, measurement, and early problem-solving abilities.
Social-Emotional Learning
Students learn how to work and play cooperatively, build friendships, communicate their needs, develop independence, and contribute positively to their classroom community.
