Catholic School's Week at Resurrection

Dear Families,

You have likely seen information about and heard your child(ren) talk about Catholic School's Week. Here is what the buzz is all about:

Since 1974, National Catholic Schools Week is the annual celebration of Catholic education in the United States. It starts the last Sunday in January and runs all week, which in 2022 is January 30 – February 5. The theme for National Catholic Schools Week 2022 is “Catholic Schools: Faith. Excellence. Service.”

Schools around the nation typically observe the annual celebration week with Masses, open houses and other activities for students, families, parishioners and community members. Through these events, schools focus on the value Catholic education provides to young people and its contributions to our church, our communities and our nation.

We are kicking off our celebration this Friday, Jan. 28th with a "Sport's Day" and community gathering at Langer's after school. This has been organized by our PTO and we hope you will join us!

On Sunday, we are celebrating our school with the wider parish community, who support and strengthen us. We are asking families to come to either the 8:30 or 11:00 mass and that students dress in uniform to show their pride in our school. We hope you will join us - all are welcome.
